Vanga (Vang) Bhasma (also called Bang Bhasma) is an ayurvedic medicine prepared from Tin Metal with calcination process including SHODHANA, MARDANA and MARNA. These processes make Tin Metal micro fine and make usable for medicinal purposes. However, Vanga Bhasma should be well prepared because Raw Bang Bhasma may have side effects of Tin Metal Intake. The well-processed Vanga Bhasma should only be used for therapeutic purposes.
Vanga Bhasma is beneficial in diseases of male and female reproductive system. Its effects appear on uterus, ovaries, testes and genitals. Bang Bhasma is highly beneficial in adrenal gland diseases especially adrenal fatigue or adrenal insufficiency.

Vang Bhasma Benefits & Uses
Vang Bhasma is beneficial in diseases of reproductive organs. It influences on ovaries and uterus in females and penile tissue, prostate gland, and testes in males.
Vang Bhasma is a drug of choice for testicular diseases in ayurveda. It reduces inflammation of testicles and epididymis, so it is very useful in cases of orchitis and epididymitis. In these diseases, it is generally taken with Chandraprabha Vati.
Orchitis & Epididymitis
Epididymitis and orchitis both are interlinked. Vang Bhasma along with Chandraprabha Vati, Chandanadi Vati, Chopchinyadi Churna and Chandanasava is effective solution inflammation of testicles and epididymis. It has antibacterial and antiviral properties, which are useful in bacterial as well as viral infections of testicles. It reduces scrotal tenderness, pain and discomfort.
Spermatocele (Spermatic Cyst & Epididymal Cyst)
Epididymal Cyst, also known as Spermatocele or Spermatic Cyst is fluid-filled sac, which is painless and benign and present in the scrotum. Vang Bhasma along with Pippali (Piper Longum), Chandraprabha Vati and Shilajit are curative ayurvedic solution for it.
Early Discharge
Most of ayurvedic physician use Vang Bhasma for early discharge along with aphrodisiac herbs like Ashwagandha, Musli, Shatavari, Vidarikand, etc. It is most useful in early discharge along with Abhrak Bhasma, Yashtimadhu, Shatavari, Vidarikand and Jatamansi (Spikenard). In such case, herbs primarily working on PITTA Dosha and secondarily working on VATA DOSHA should be used along with Vanga Bhasma. Treatment should be given for 2 to 3 months with this combination.
Pyuria & Pus in Seminal Fluid
Most cases with male infertility are suffering with pus cells in the seminal fluid. Vang Bhasma (125 mg) along with Triphala Churna and Dashmoolarishta is very effective remedy for this. The treatment with this combination should be given for a month and can be repeated up to 3 months.
