Chandanbala Lakshadi Tailam

Chandanbala Lakshadi Tailam is polyherbal Ayurvedic oil is also known as Chandan Bala Lakshadi Tail or Chandan Bala Laxadi Oil. In this medicated oil sesame oil is used as base oil and medicinal herbs such as sandalwood, Bala root, Laxsha etc are processed in it. It has cooling, antipyretic, antispasmodic and antiseptic activities. The herbs used have cooling effect on body and helps to pacify burning sensation in body.

It is also Used to apply all over the body and massage to relieve itching, blisters, burning sensation in eyes, fever, headache, tiredness and emaciation. Used for internal administration in cases of cold, cough, asthma, bleeding diseases, heavy menstrual bleeding and oligospermia.

Effect

Balances Pitta and Kapha.

How to use

• It is used for nasal instillation in a dose of 2 – 8 drops, as directed by Ayurvedic doctor.
• Dose for internal administration – 2 – 3 ml, once or twice a day, before food with warm water, or as directed by Ayurvedic doctor.
• Self medication with Nasya or oral intake is strictly contra indicated.
• It is also used for massage.

Side effects:

In higher doses, or in cases where it is wrongly administered, it may cause loose stools and diarrhea.

This medicine should only be taken under strict medical supervision.
