Alternatively, one can take Triphala churna (1/2 tsp.) mixing with Trikatu Churna (250 mg), Honey (1 tsp.) and then take this mixture with lukewarm water. It is considerably best method because Trikatu enhances metabolism and improves fat dissolving capacity of Triphala.
Triphala use in Diabetes
Studies also have shown that it has hypo-glycemic effects, which may be due to its action on insulin resistance. Triphala churna reduces cellular resistance to uptake insulin and helps in a proper use of insulin in the cells. Therefore, it becomes effective in the treatment of diabetes mellitus.
